Readings and Performances and Other Stuff
I have a new piece on McSweeneys.net. It's a Thanksgiving journal that I wrote right after Thanksgiving, but it got a bit delayed . . . Anyway, click here McSweeneys.net
Below are some readings.
But first, look to buy Michael P. Welch's The Donkey Show from Equator Books. It's a wild, original novel. Click here: Equator Books.
And either in the next few weeks or in January, I'll publish young scholar Michael Wood's fascinating discovery about Henry James.
And you can always go to mrbellersneighborhood.com and search my name to find some pieces I've written, if you feel like it.
Thursday, Dec.11, 7pm -- Housing Works Used Book Store. I will be reading from my new novel (not yet published), Wake Up, Sir! Also reading will be first time novelist, M. Dylan Raskin, author of Little New York Bastard. Address: 126 Crosby Street, just south of Houston. Near plenty of subway stops.
That same night, around 8:30, I'll go over to KGB, on East Fourth Street, to help Post Road, a lit journal, celebrate its newest issue for which I've contributed an essay-of-sorts.
Wed., Dec. 17 7pm -- The Players Club on Grammercy Park. I'll be hosting and telling a story for the MOTH. Click on the Moth for ticket information and exact address.
