New Info:
*On April 23 & 24, I will be in Chicago for the first time; I will be reading and performing. Scroll down for details.
*I have a piece on Presidential doodles in the new issue of Cabinet Magazine. The very clever Cabinet editors managed to get a hold of Presidential doodles from such Presidents as Nixon, LBJ, Bush I, FDR, Hoover, Kennedy . . . To find out where to get Cabinet go to www.cabinetmagazine.org
*I have written the preface to a republication of George Plimpton's novel The Curious Case of Sidd Finch; it is in the stores I hear, and will be officially published on April 1. Do check it out: it's a wonderful book.
*My new novel, Wake Up, Sir!, is coming out in July. Please check here in late June for a list of readings, and if you like you can pre-order it at your favorite bookstore or online bookstore.
*I have pieces that can be found at Mrbellersneighborhood.com and McSweeneys.net
*If you liked my book What's Not to Love?, you can find out about What's Not to Love? t-shirts at www.bodyasbillboard.com
*On the main page of my site, there's an odd new feature called The Literary Dick (as in Private Detective); this blog is manned by the young and talented scholar Michael Wood. This blog has been mentioned a few times on a wonderful book-lovers site called Maudnewton.com; it's a site I highly recommend.
