Readings, News, and Performances: I will be performing Sunday as part of the Howl Festival. First, at 7 pm, I will be at PS 122 with Mangina, David Leslie, Larry Fessenden, and numerous others. Here's the link to that show: http://www.howlfestival.com/2004/mainevents/performance.shtml For this show, I will do an odd audience-participation piece. Then at 9:30 pm, I will be at Joe's Pub with Moby, Suzanne Vega, Ed Sanders, Edwin Torres, and Carl Hancock Rux. There, I will tell a personal "howl" story. The link for this show is: http://www.howlfestival.com/2004/mainevents/poetryjam.shtml

Readings, Performances, News: I will be at the Fez tonight, August 16, for a night of readings in tribute of Charles Bukowski. The show begins at 8 pm, the cover charge is 10 dollars. Other readers are: Mike Daisey, Elise Miller, Amy Sohn, Bunny Love. The band One Ring Zero will also be there, and they will play my "Hairy Call" song. Wednesday night, August 18th, as part of the Howl Festival, I will be at the Bowery Poetry Club. The show that night is Sara Valentine's Little Miss Big Mouth. It's a talk-show/performance hybrid. Her co-host is David "The Impact Addict". The other interviewees/performers are Penny Arcade, Bina Sharif, and Warhol legend Taylor Mead. For some reason, I can't make line-spaces between things: I apologize. There are very nice reviews of my new novel Wake Up, Sir! at: http://www.bookloons.com/cgi-bin/Review.asp?bookid=3352, http://www.metroactive.com/papers/sonoma/08.04.04/wake-up-0432.html, and http://216.65.214.99/review_detail.asp?id=5738&t=book. Thank you for coming to my site!
