On Saturday, October 2nd, I will be part of New York is Book Country -- I will be signing books at NYU, but I don't have the exact info. On Sunday, October 3rd (6:00pm), I will be at the Sonny's Reading Series in Red Hook at Sonny's Bar -- I don't have the exact directions how to get there, but it's a worthwhile trip and adventure. On October 7th (7pm), I will be at the Park Slope Barnes and Noble (somewhere on 7th Avenue), reading and appearing with the band One Ring Zero. Readings, Performances, News: I will be having my last official reading from Wake Up, Sir! this Thursday, September 9th at 7pm. This will take place the Barnes & Noble in Brooklyn at 106 Court Street, which is very close to the N,R,2,3,4,5 trains. The band "One Ring Zero" will play some songs from their new album, including my song "The Story of the Hairy Call." September 29th and 30th, I will be in Ohio participating in readings to help the voter-registration effort in that state. For information about this go to: www.stephenelliott.com; Stephen Elliott, a very talented writer, is organizing these readings.
