Saturday, January 8th, I will be doing a performance-art piece from 11 am until 6pm at the Clementine Gallery, which is located at 526 West 26th Street, Suite 211, telephone: 212 243 5937. I will be standing in a corner, posing as Vincent Van Gogh. I don't have the right period dress, but I am growing out my red beard. My friend Patrick Bucklew will also be performing/exhibiting -- his art work and himself. You can view his incredible paintings at: http://homepage.mac.com/patrickbucklew/PhotoAlbum1.html.
We will also pose at the gallery on January 15, 22, and 29th (but only for an hour or two on those days), and there will be a closing party of the show (it's a group show, see the following link: http://www.slower.net/clementine.php) on February 4th, from 6-8pm. Choire Sicha is the curator of the show.
Thursday, January 13th, I will be participating in the great Jessi Klein's comedy show at 8pm, located at Cinema Classics on East 11th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues.
A book I really like is just coming out, it's called Jack Fish and it's by J. Milligan, whose website is: http://www.j-milligan.com/. I highly recommend the book; it's a great, wild, mad New York novel.
