Feb.9th: Quick update: New Contest. Just as I once had "The Most Phallic Building in the World" contest, I am now going to take a poll. But let me first explain the nature of this poll -- on the cover of my new book, I Love You More Than You Know, it's unclear whether my testicle or my liver is hanging out of my boxer shorts, or whether it's just an odd shadow. The world seems to be divided between those who think it's my testicle and those who think it's a shadow -- this is my unscientific polling estimation, anyway, based on what people have said to me. But now I'd like to take a formal Gallup-esque poll. Please write to me at jonathanames2@aol.com and vote one way or the other on this ball issue and I will print the results here. This whole thing, I have to say, is my literary career in a nut shell, as it were. I will be starting a book tour February 6th and will list all the details here quite soon. The cities I will be travelling to are: Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, SF, LA, Albany, Toronto, and Boston. I will also have several readings here in New York.

There will be some new stagings of my variety/interview show and it will be called "The Jonathan Ames and Moby Show" or "The Jonathan Ames and Moby Variety Hour." Moby, the musician, will be co-hosting with me and it should be quite interesting. We will have the usual cast of magicians, hoola-hoop artists, comedians, writers, Elves, dancers, and Manginas. So check here for dates and times, which as of yet have not been determined.
