The Literary Dick (as in Private Detective)
welcomes questions about literary mysteries and scandals, which should be sent to: woodyswoody@hotmail.com. The Literary Dick (as in Private Detective) is published by Jonathanames.com. Ames, our mentor at this website, has an excellent new book out called, Wake Up, Sir! and an even newer book out (he is the editor) called Sexual Metamorphosis: An Anthology of Transsexual Memoirs.

A New Mystery; A Request For Help

Dear Readers: I was emailed emailed the below question:

Dear Literary Dick,
I'm looking for a recent successful murder mystery in which the reader knows the killer and the circumstances from the outset, well before the protaganist.

Thank you,
Richard A.

Any help in answering Richard A's question would be most appreciated...I suppose in the book Hannibal there is a section where the Italian detective is going after Hannibal and the reader knows that Hannibal is Hannibal but the detective is not sure. But I'm not sure that precisely fits as an answer for Richard A's question. Please email any suggestions!
